That probably 90% of the fatal shootings were completely justified use of force.

Depending on the outcome they want, they can omit the "criminal" or "unarmed" portions of their data. So if a dude is trying to shoot his way out...

Crime rates. Blacks commit 50% of the homicides, 30% of assaults. If you control for this, blacks are actually unrepresented in police killings...

They leave out the criminal rates. More blacks are violent criminals; ergo, they get shot more.
