Nah, it's the former. It's fun to play the underdog when there's no risk to your livelihood. They're keeping the sets but killing the ads.

I've still got all of mine! I loved those and the Knight ones as well. I dunno, maybe I could get some minifigs of Karens and antifa protesters...
