Go for it. If space is a concern, you can still build a solid desktop with a mini-ITX case. And you can even buy premade, customized PCs nowadays...

Is it a Ryzen with Vega cores for graphics? Those aren't spectacular, not having any dedicated graphics memory it uses the normal RAM and shares...
