I wonder if he broke it, because the stone in his ring is actually made of colored glass and not the actual gemstone it's supposed to be..

If he keeps this up he'll burn down 14BC again.

Is it just me, or does it seem like it'd be hard to break a stone like that (especially a stone embedded in a ring)? I get the feeling he didn't...
