Did the one in Steins Gate count as a troon or just a really deluded trap? I haven’t gotten that far in the show yet.

As the old saying goes... Besides, you don't need surgery or hormones to be trans anymore. Haven't you heard? It's 2018. C'mon.

Like others said, the claim is dubious but the drama it's causing is fascinating.
