I'm not sure he knows the difference.

I thought he was a retired wounded marine who couldn't do parkour anymore.

Maybe someone told him that the marines weren't the most elite fighting force in the world. Not that Jace would have figured that out from playing...

Marines are part of the Navy. Doesn't the SEALS get a lot of marines rather than sailors? :( A "survival expert" telling Jace to climb a tree...
