It's about quantity not quality, easier to gauge whether some feature or aspect is really that bad, or how prevalent specific technical issues...

You can at least tell when the writers actually played the game. With most "games journalists," they get confused by the startup screen and give up.

And every single one is better than any game journo review. Some guy who whines for 4 paragraphs about racial representation while not talking...
