A transgender athlete case ruling is first. It is West Virgnia v. B. P. J. The court holds that schools can determine eligibility for women's and girls' sports teams based on biological sex.

The court holds that West Virginia did not violate Title IX, which bars educational programs that receive federal funding from discriminating based on sex.

The court also says that West Virginia and Idaho did not violate the Constitution's equal protection clause by maintaining female sports teams for biological females.

The chief justice and Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch, and Barrett join the Kavanaugh opinion.

Justice Sotomayor has an opinion concurring in the judgment in part and dissenting in part. Justices Kagan and Jackson join that opinion.

Sotomayor agrees that B.P.J.'s claim under Title IX "fails, although under a narrower basis than that on which the majority relies." BPJ is the West Virginia challenger. But she dissents with regard to the equal protection claim, saying that "unresolved factual questions prevent the Court from assessing the merits of B.P.J.'s equal protection claim at this time."

Apparently there's one opinion for both trans athlete cases, West Virginia v. B.P.J. and Little v. Hecox. The case caption listed first and at the top of each page is B.P.J., so it looks like this opinion will be referred to in the future as B.P.J.

First opinion is trans athletes with Kavanaugh writing the opinion. Unanimous decision with the liberal justices writing concurring opinions.

Court says that women's eligibility for sports must be based on biological sex.

That means either Sotomayor or Thomas is likely authoring birthright opinion. Thomas? Cope.

The problem is that the SAVE act would create a massive bottleneck for passports, which can already take a while to get during peak travel times.

The better approach is to mandate that Real ID only applies to citizens since licenses are a much better form of proof (and no one wants to spend extra on a pointless passport card just to vote)
You're forgetting that all the libs who rush to get their passports in order to vote will have to stare at this for the next 10 years:

The lols from that alone are enough justification to pass the SAVE act.

Trans athlete cases appear to be first. It is West Virgnia v. B. P. J. The court holds that schools can determine eligibility for women's and girls' sports teams based on biological sex.
Finally, we can put an end to this insanity. No more gender BS arguments; sex means biological sex for everything related to IX.
(b) The term “sex” in Title IX, the Javits Amendment, and the Title IX regulations cannot plausibly be interpreted to refer to anything other than biological sex. The ordinary meaning of the term “sex” at Cite as: 609 U. S. ___ (2026) 3 Syllabus the time of enactment in the early 1970s was biological sex and not gender identity, particularly in the sports context.

You're supposed to vote in the primaries kicking them out of power. Particularly the midterm primaries since less people turn out for those so it's easier to slip /our guys/ into power. Just voting for the President every 4 years doesn't fix the Congress problem.
It's why the DSA commies are able to gain so much power so fast. They're the activist voting Bloc that votes in every single election and they realised that they can just vote for their guys.
My choice is in the Republican primary of PA with some dumb bitch. And this other retoid because Trump fucked up us getting Lubar Leto in. By endorsing that retard in 2022. Trump needs to get his fucking nose out of the Republican primaries.

I'm feeling fairly neutral. I saw some great posts that if scotus allows it to continue then republicans can just start tearing up shit a different way. The scotus route is basically a free throw. If we have to do it the hard way it will take longer but ultimately be more benefical to the right due to the huge amount of desctruction it will cause to left power base while simultaneously making it more difficult for them to revert due to all the changes. Meanwhile the scotus route can be undone by a future scotus.
