This picture has reminded me of an incident a few years ago driving home from work late at night. I'm going down a rural highway and there's no lights or other drivers around so its pretty damn dark. I'm half asleep behind the wheel when all of a sudden a small owl swoops down into view of my headlights, and releases the mouse it was carrying directly into my windshield at 60mph. Scared the absolute shit out of me.

The mouse didn't make it.
