don’t use my desktop much anymore, but that’s due to severe pain when sitting for long, which sucks for me
This is why I find it crazy that people scream about how you BETTER sit at a desk or else you are gay, or whatever.
Why must discomfort be tied to gaming?? Especially with health issues.
I feel like ablism is an overused term, but this really feels like the dumbest version of it. "If you have chronic pain and can't sit at a desk for hours you aren't a REAL gamer".
Like c'mon desks and sitting at them were never cool or preferred, but for years we had no real alternatives. Now we do and people against it are basically the gamer equivalent of old men saying how rock and roll will DEFINITELY send you to hell.
Its more age showing, or more age of mentality than anything. Stuck in old ways, which you stick to because its what you always did
I don't even care if people still use keyboard, whatever, cool, but hating non keyboard setups is dumb.
I think some people just hate new shit, because they think all new shit, is infact, shit.
I don’t like it, but I understand it. At least Valve had the sense to hedge and try to delay instead of talking out if both sides of their mouth like Microsoft just did.
Or worse, Nintendo up charging customer's, then suing the United states of sanctions, but not refunding customers.
I think your average customer has no clue how many back room deals go on. They don't understand that consoles are cheaper due to walled garden to begin with, that they have manufacturing deals, ect, and so just see price and nothing else.
