Healthy daughter breaks her foot which is not only very painful physically but also mentally as she's a dancer: yeah whatever idgaf
Revie has seizures as she always does: MY GOODNESS PLEASE HELP ME
The rave bedtime routine probably isn't helping...
She's blind and not sure about the sounds though. Maybe the music causes seizures. Though I think having oxygen saturation in fucking seventies for hours on end is the primary cause of the increased seizure activity.

River is going to Disney.

Found this one off of adventuresofmommy. She has a child with HIE who is blind can't swallow her own saliva. She decides the smart hing to do is take her to the movie theatre with her suction machine and suction her the entire movie. People of course complain because they paid to see movie she gets so rowdy about it the cops are called. Cops won't remove her so now shes filing complains against the theatre since she sees that as the cops siding with her.

SIKE!!!!
Psyche?
...insert complaint about the education system...

I recently had to spell the word "marble" to a college student and explain that a nickel is 5 cents to a high school graduate.

It's more than Fatu being an idiot.
Fatu is an idiot but he's not wrong in this instance, "sike" is an accepted way to spell it when it comes to the slang version of the word.

I'd see if the kid was blind and deaf. But even then, it's still a dick move to go through with that shit...Unless, of course, your entire life revolves around maintaining your Instagram content

I'm not sure if it's the same anywhere else, but in my city, there are specific days and times where they have movie showings specifically for children, special needs, or on the spectrum people. The idea is to tard rangle them all into special showings where noise and disruption is to be expected, instead of ruining a movie during a normal screening.

If they have that option where she lives and she is intentionally going to a normal showing, then she's just being a huge cunt.

I've heard of certain grocery stores having an "sensory friendly" period where they dim the lights and turn off the pop music for the autists. But I haven't seen anyone outside of Reddit acknowledging it.

I'd just assumed that it was an incredibly rare thing for it to happen

I'm acknowledging this for you but for Poland and Auchan (could be another shop but Auchan advertises it hard). But it's cool because those ads blasting from the speakers are fucking cringe. Music is whatever but the speakers always blast retarded ads LOOK WE GOT SUPER DISCOUNT ON DA BADASS MILK JUST LOOK. So I always take my headphones to ignore the cringe.
I don't have a reddit account.

Doesn't matter if the kid is deaf or hearing, they can only hear the machine running provided they are "hearing".
Yeah because there is this perceived notion that when you're disabled you must go on to live normally even if it doesn't make any logical sense. Perfect example - lolcow Alex Dacy being "the mother" XD

Also even if the machine was quiet the tard baby or any toddler in general would rather sit down on a floor and play with their mother, right? That's what I'm thinking I'm not a mother but my intuition tells me small children shouldn't go to a cinema. They aren't into looking at the screens especially screens being far away from them.
Ok so before I went mad busy and hardly active I've watched a Polish professor. She said absolutely no screen below 2 years of age and then the next years also hardly any screen I don't remember the exact numbers but those were small. So basically taking small kids to the cinema is a no no. The child is like 3 right?

I'd say that anyone who's under 3 shouldn't really go to the cinema for a variety of reasons (seriously, the iconic audio test that THX ran wound up traumatizing a lot of autists into REEEING about it a few decades later) , or just routinely spend a few hours watching a set of Disney DVDs, for that matter. But this kid looks like the type to be content with playing with something than just sitting there to (barely) listen to a movie

Where I live, Sweden, it's either more of a way for new mums to get together and get out of the house with the baby/young kid and meet up with other mothers and their children for some socialising.
They have age appropriate movies and sound levels and in most of the places you can have a coffee and a muffin or something and talk to another adult while your kid either watches the movie or sleep in their stroller.
Or, in some places they have adult movies showing for parents with babies with lower volume, subtitles and not so dark in the salon and you are allowed to move around.
I think the latter option is a great way for couples with very young babies to have some time together doing something fun, like a little date.

Sperging in the wrong direction - I think the most typical of neuros might still face problems at the movie theater, because it is a place of profound and deep autism. Avid moviegoers insist upon a sensory-deprived environment where nothing is going on but the audio visuals of the film. Whereas I, a normal person, become emotionally affected by art in such a way that it often causes me to mutter, or turn to my date and whisper, or worse, recite my favorite line along with the actor, as if I were at my own personal Rocky Horror Picture Show. I realize the error of my ways and I try not to overstim the other moviegoers. Apologies if you've sat near me during a showing of Excalibur (1981) or something.

Lol, yeah I'm an autist and I hate people like you.
Mostly because people whisper to each other so all I hear is a constant hissing sound which is very distracting because people don't realise whispers carry much further than a low toned normal conversation.
So please, talk normally but in a lower tone and no one is going to care ;)

Revie is of course already getting sick again after nurse danee invited tons of people and kids over for a welcome home party.

Quite a few non-spectrum people like to attend these showings as well, because they do things like tamp down explosions or mute flashing lights.

There are some in my part of the US; a few grocery stores and the local Target that I can think of offhand, (One has an elderly hour, I’m not sure what that entails, maybe extra staff to help shoppers get things from hard to reach shelves.)

The chipmunk video, um, that’s not cute. Of course Revie started getting sick again, she looks unwell in the first photo.

I love those hours, you don't realise how bright and loud shopping can be. A nice break with the baby.

They don't give any gentle indication the sensory friendly hours are over though, they just turn all the lights on and start blasting music again and it upsets *everyone* who's there for the purpose of the hours without fail.

None of those grocery hours or movie tard wrangling is in my town. At this point, I get my groceries delivered and watch movies at home.

I hate people eating, talking and using their phone in movies. I hate little kids running up and down the aisles. I hate over-air-conditioned grocery stores where you have to walk a mile around the perimeter to shop.

That’s the world today so no point in trolling myself by participating.

I freely let the people who are suctioning and stimming have the movies and grocery stores. . Thank god it’s 2026 and I have choices.

Why is Fatu writing long religious posts about his job and how he’s struggling? Is he not a dasher? Or does he have a real job too? If he’s struggling learning to door dash …I guess the potato doesn’t drop far from the patch.

"This job has been a huge learning curve. It's never taken me this long to pick up on something". You married britbitch you probably can't learn anything more complicated than the spoon usage.

Ok so Revie has pseudomonas colonization and she's allowed to play with other children? (Insert hitler's breakdown gif)
Huh. Maybe it's good for me to be mati because otherwise im dead tired and stressed.

He said he worked in sales (whatever it means) however it was a month(?) ago so things could have changed already.

Nurse Daneeeeeeee trusts in allah to protect Revie. Or, she and Bratney are both munchie types who can’t wait to get that sweet sweet round-the-clock attention in the hospital again

How the hell is calling the cops and trying to force a tard out of movie theatre less distracting than a suction machine?

Movie chains have vouchers specifically for customers who get disgruntled over random shit so they won't cause a scene.
