Forgot to mention this critical fact- Meisho Tabaru’s victory makes him and Golshi the first parent-child duo to ever both win the same G1 in back-to-back years. He’s basically guaranteed to become an Uma one day for this fact alone.

And of course I find out that Meisho Tabaru was jockeyed by none other than John Umamusume himself - Yutaka Take.

Mans been doing this since '87, and has legitimately jockeyed something like half the roster. Truly, he is Him.

It hardly needs to be said at this point, as basically everyone knows how powerful it is already, but its actually kind of nuts how much stronger my runs have been after getting a single Kitasan Black support card. Now that I can actually use a different friend support card like MLB Matikanefukukitaru, my good runs now get around 1.5k - 2k more rating than they previously would, and I've broken the S+ barrier. If I didn't have good Open League runners who I know do well, I'd be half-tempted to try Graded for the upcoming CM, when previously I wouldn't even consider the thought, as the risk of 0-wins wasn't unfounded.

The crazy part is that it despite being the missing link I needed, it being 0LB means its merely quite good for all umas, but I'll still need 3 more uncaps until it truly unlocks its broken potential. At least I know what to save my rainbow shards for.

I choose to believe that End Closers not named Gold Ship are a psyop to see just how bad a character has to be before no one will go for them. Shit, Hishi Amazon might be terrible, but at least she has Power growths and is more for shorter distances…

In the Sneedsfarm Official (TM) Kiwi Farms club, I hosted a club race in preparation for the upcoming CM Cancer Cup, mainly just for fun. Decided to create a post regarding the race because why not. With that in mind, here are the results of the...

SFS Cancer Cup (formerly CFS Cancer Cup)

There were three participants who took part in this race (plus 9 NPCs):
  • Im going to Uma
  • Tourmaline
  • dan
In the previously hosted SFS Gemini Cup (which I forgot to save), Vittek was the previous winner, and of the returning trainers, Tourmaline finished a very close 2nd, and Im going to Uma finished 4th (last).

Of the participants' runners, the race's favourite rankings were as follows:
  1. Agnes Tachyon (Tourmaline) - Gate 17 - Pace
    • Rating: 16872
    • Medium S
  2. Agnes Tachyon (dan) - Gate 16 - Pace
    • Rating: 14635
    • Turf S + Medium S
  3. Mejiro Ryan (Tourmaline) - Gate 3 - Late
    • Rating: 17384
    • 4 Gold Skills
  4. Mihono Bourbon (Im going to Uma) - Gate 12 - Front
    • Rating: 17555
  5. Nice Nature (Im going to Uma) - Gate 18 - Late
    • Rating: 16233
    • Debuffer
  6. El Condor Pasa (Im going to Uma) - Gate 2 - Pace
    • Rating: 17384
    • 4 Gold Skills
  7. King Halo (Tourmaline) - Gate 4 - Late
    • Rating: 16925
    • Late S + Medium S
  8. Vodka (dan) - Gate 9 - Pace
    • Rating: 15336
    • 4 Gold Skills
  9. Symboli Rudolf (dan) - Gate 10 - Pace
    • Rating: 13630
    • Pace S
    • Debuffer
Of the participants, the pace strategies for the race were:
  • Front: 1
  • Pace: 5
  • Late: 3
  • End: 0
Race Summary

At the start of the race, all racers got out of the gate cleanly, Mihono Bourbon (#4) comfortably leads the pack, but pace chasers El Condor Pasa (#6), Vodka (#8) and Symboli Rudolf (#9) are unluckily all soft boxed by 4 NPCs in front, and the 2 Agnes Tachyons (#1 + #2) on the outside.

Mid race, Mihono Bourbon (#4) is in the lead by about 4-5 lengths, but Agnes Tachyon (#1) goes to the inside of the track, procs her unique skill then navigates around the NPC wall, to remain just behind 1st midway through the final corner. A second pack starts to form for 3rd position, with Symboli Rudolf (#9) managing to make a burst on the outside of the NPCs, followed by Agnes Tachyon (#2). The remaining runners all get caught up fighting either each other or the NPCs.

At the start of the final straight, Mihono Bourbon (#4) has a 1 length lead over Agnes Tachyon (#1), with Agnes entering the straight with more speed. Mihono procs her unique skill, and it becomes a neck and neck two uma race up for the win. The battle is decided at the 50m mark, where Agnes gets enough of a spurt to win by 3/4s of a length. In the battle for 3rd, Symboli Rudolf (#9) has a 1 length lead over Agnes Tachyon (#2), but is outclassed in the duel by Agnes who secures 3rd. Also, Mejiro Ryan (#3) would also break out of the pack behind, and managed to sneak 4th by a nose, leaving Symboli Rudolf (#9) to wrap up 5th.

Race Results
  1. Agnes Tachyon (#1) - 2:09.7 - Tourmaline
  2. Mihono Bourbon (#4) - 3/4 L - Im going to Uma
  3. Agnes Tachyon (#2) - 4 L - dan
  4. Mejiro Ryan (#3) - 3/4 L - Tourmaline
  5. Symboli Rudolf (#9) - Nose - dan
  6. King Halo (#7) - Neck - Tourmaline
  7. Nice Nature (#5) - 3/4 L - Im going to Uma
  8. Vodka (#8) - Nose - dan
  9. El Condor Pasa (#6) - 1 1/2 L - Im going to Uma
Trainer Ranking
  1. Tourmaline (1st, 4th, 6th)
  2. Im going to Uma (2nd, 7th, 9th)
  3. dan (3rd, 5th, 8th)
Highlights
  • The Agnes Tachyons (#1 + #2) - Both had very strong races. The winning Agnes did everything she could to force the win, and only won due to taking the risky path and successfully cutting through the NPC Wall. The 3rd place Agnes was outclassed by the field on paper, but secured a comfortable podium against runners with 1.5k - 2k higher ratings.
  • Mihono Bourbon (#4) - Lost at the end, but ran a very stable, consistent race, living up to the 'Cyborg' moniker. Probably would have just won if she was on the inside gates.
  • Symboli Rudolf (#9) - An S class performance from the only A class runner, and from a debuffer at that. Very well ran 5th.
Lowlights
  • King Halo (#7) - Fairly strong rating and S in both Late and Medium, but only managed 6th place. She was placed in Gate 4 though, so she was probably doomed from the start.
  • El Condor Pasa (#6) - Tied for the 2nd highest rating of all runners, and finishes comfortably last. What?
Congratulations to Tourmaline for the win. I may do a follow-up SFS Cancer Cup 2 race further into the CM.

Gonna compile a couple of useful links:

Timeline and Parent Database. Here you can look the closest estimated dates of upcoming banners and events coming to Global as well as a database of Parents that are added as people put them out there. It also apparently has a club stalking feature so you can see the Eden clubs bot in real time.

Carrot Calculator. Some youtuber has made a calculator to estimate how much free shit you should have come certain banners in order to plan your pulls. Always take it with a grain of salt and assume you will be fucked over by Shiraoki-sama and need 200 rolls for a trainee and at least 400 rolls to mlb a card. Do note it has some things there that will not be implemented until later down the road, i.e. the several battle passes JP has today.

Hakuraku. Depending on your personal feelings this may be the most controversial resource site. People have manage to make a bot to scrape every publicly held race that allows spectators to spectate and record data on EVERY race. They have then been able to compile it into various charts and graphs. Do note that some of the best comps and data are mostly from whales and other such dedicated players that make up a small minority of players. But if you're a meta slave or curious on what kind of builds people are making of your Oshi there is plenty of data to swim though yourself.

We're getting a patch on July 1st, btw; that's more than likely the quality-of-life changes they gave JP Players on the Second Anniversary, plus changes potentially beyond that from other patches if last major patch was anything to go by. Your career mode runs will be deleted if you haven't finished them, so keep that in mind. I could be wrong, but the language they used for this announcement is pretty similar to the language used for the Half Anniversary getting the 1st anni patch early.

I wouldn't say that the PDM changes necessarily benefit the fronts the most if anything it helps Pacers more to over take bad fronts by not punishing them to go to last for even being close to the worst front runner's ass. Good fronts will still dominate for Grand Live and with the changes it means that running a single Front is now viable so you no longer need to run an entire team just to be able to compete. I think Ends might see more prominence in Global than they did in JP for the next scenario.

I will say, an unexpected upside of falling back into Open League for the CM - it’s nice to see some variety in the Uma’s I race against. My losses being much closer than repeated blowouts also stings less.
