I don't even think DarkTide flopped so much as it was another entry into an already crowded Genre that didn't bring anything new to the table...

Both sm2 and dt are generally considered successes, sure sm2 has certainly significantly less players now, but darktide is usually more active.

It was wildly successful, selling 12 milion copies as of April this year. So roughly 700 milion dollars on a budget of under a hundred milion...
