The Marines have a tendency towards Overkill It's why they're the more based infantry force between them and the US Army

It's just concussive munitions(various "flash bangs") intermixed with rifle fire. A little shock n' awe to scare off the goat farmers.

Tough to tell through phone mics, but some of that sounded like it could be 40mm. Some was riot munitions for sure.
