The hearing has concluded. Unfortunately, there were no juicy details as everybody was dancing around attorney-client privilege.
Brian will be pro se henceforth. He also blamed his autism for the whole kerfuffle.
Brian's Braveheart speeches about miscarriages of justice were derailing the proceedings, so the Judge had to tell him multiple times to settle down and not to interrupt her. Also, there was a Mr Hendrix in a previous hearing, so the Judge kept mistakenly referring to Brian in that way. He had to correct her.
She apologised for the mix-up. He said it was no problem and wished her a nice day before leaving.

AG reiterates the motion is due to the statements in MJB's motion, but refuses to elaborate due to attorney-client privilege.
BM denies threatening MJB. Says that during a phone call, MJB acknowledged that no threats were made via email (very odd qualification). BM makes some allusion that the firm is requesting more money than the retainer limit he specified.
Judge said she was already prepared to grant the motion today and is perplexed at BM's opposition as nothing was filed in advance.
BM forgot to mention he has autism and takes the opportunity to remind the Judge of this. He attributes his communication style being "different" to this. He opposes withdrawal because he requires counsel to speak on his behalf, they are extremely familiar with the facts of the case, a retainer has been paid and the complexity is too much for him to handle. The generational debt he is facing requires professional representation to oppose.
AG maintains there has been a breakdown in communication, completely irrespective of the billing issue and that BM deliberately ignores legal advice.
BM interjects that the things MJB and AG tell him are completely at odds with each other, but remarks that AG is the better communicator of the two. BM maintains that this communication breakdown only occurred after the motion to withdraw.
The Judge considers the arguments for all of about 30 seconds before granting the motion to withdraw. Brian shuffles off towards the door before seemingly remembering there is another matter and returns to the podium.
Matter #2:
MR from the top rope, says:
MR says the 3rd matter was partially reversed on appeal due to copyright issues. BM disputes this and says everything was reversed. BM goes on some long meandering speech about how Dallas County Court said he did nothing wrong, but Plaintiffs venue shopped and duplicated the complaint to Collin County Court instead which isn't allowed. BM claims he has evidence of fraud on the court and that the Collin County and Dallas County claims should be merged.
The Judge interrupts to remind him that he isn't here to litigate the case, just pencil in some proposed dates for next steps. She vaguely floats the idea of mediation but figures it's more appropriate to set dates. BM concedes that he will be pro se following the withdrawal of his representation. MR quips that the time to settle was a decade ago, so he agrees setting dates is the way forward.

Discovery cutoff day: December 30th
Parties meet and confer deadline: January 16th
Case dispositive motion deadline: January 30th
