Going on any server that doesn't have Trust or is capped to level 75 will mean that your story progression is gated to how good you can network...

If you just want to play the story, retail is the way to go. You unlock trusts quite early which lets you actually progress the content mostly...

Asura fucking sucks, it's all botters and mercs. the server culture there is impressively terrible for an old MMO with a very niche player base...
