Those look like dolphin dorsal fins. They're very curious and rely on sound so probably came to check out all the activity going on in the area.

Hopefully dolphins, as they are generally intelligent enough to know not to fuck with humans.

If the astronauts get in the water the dolphins will give them a buff and they'll be able to swim faster

Those dolphins are probably dead now from the highly toxic fuel residue and other chemicals that the pod leeched into the water. (:_(
