In that context, "vamping" sounds better or maybe just "outing" in general.

I like that as for some reason it feels like an allusion for them offing themselves.

They should get their own subcategory: "Realnaming". 41(1)ing the troons? That might hit too close to homo.

Or any reflective surface really Personally I would vouch for "datamining" or any other term used by big tech when they do the exact same thing.
