Where I'm at, gas prices actually rose after the election, and stayed stable since.

Gas has been consistently at $2.50(+/- 20c) in my area since summer. Feels a bit... weird actually.

Dropped from $2.80-$2.90 down to $2.64 in this region in the course of the past few weeks

Gas in my area has consistently yo-yo'd between $2.60 and $2.85 for the last several months, so I haven't noticed anything. But I live in an area...

Could be wrong, but if I recall it usually goes down on average during winter due to lower demand from less people driving on snowy roads.
