Maybe raw as in 'hitting it raw', so the egg wasn't in a condom.

I took it to mean a cooked, peeled boiled egg, the logic being that if your asshole is tight the egg will fall apart, but if your asshole is loose...

I'm going to second this, sounds like some shit an old buddy of mine would say.
