If you want to play with others get 6. Otherwise it doesn't matter.

I prefer 6 fwiw. It's Street Fighter so the core gameplay isn't much different between the 2. I just prefer the character design/graphics of 6...

Both are turds, but 6 is way more polished than 5 (and it has a World Tour mode that gets updated with dlc characters).
