There's a very popular reality show based on this premise i.e. women (& even men) clamoring to marry convicted felons because "I can fix 'em"...

To be fair, Rolling Stone did the best they possibly could have to make Dzhokhar Tsarnaev look like a sex icon/celebrity on the cover of the issue...
