I remember LEGUL MINDSET talking about how Nick torched any chance he had at an Alford plea. I'll try and find it. EDIT: He talks about it here...

It is allowed in MN as far as I can tell. But its rarely used because the Judge and prosecutor don't usually have much incentive to agree to it...
