Based on how a bullet travels it can be reasonably assumed it looked elongated just due to the sheer speed.

Because there are pictures from the exact same angle a split second before and after that don't feature it.

Because it looks nothing like that. That's not what it looks like at all. I would assume (which I don't in this case) composite rendering long...
