i thought it was because lazy people realized they could just leech off of google for money instead of needing to actually be good

At least it isn't as pathetic as Opera ditching its Presto engine and going from the fastest and slimmest proper browser out there to yet another...

At least it gave us Librewolf, Waterfox and the various forks that don't really suck (and compared to Firefox are magical, even)
