FYI, Nintendo had the uncensored version of BMX XXX, and that was back in 2002. This is nothing new for Nintendo

It’s been that way since at least 2017. They’ll allow anything from third parties as long as it has an ESRB rating that isn’t AO.

iirc as long as you're not using a plugin that automatically unlocks all trophies, you're fine. Bear in mind you can no longer create a PSN...
