I agree with everything you said here except maybe the black part. I've seen that claim made in threads outside this CG one, and I am not sure...

CG was like Hazard County from the Dukes of Hazzard with EVS as its Boss Hogg. Fat, lazy EVS owned the town and ran it with his dopey deputies...

Would be a shame if someone already did that. Why can't the mother figure out where her daughter is? What the hell, did they kidnap his daughter...
