Thinking about it, putting tropers in a "Truman Show"-esque scenario, they would never break out of their programming and stay in the show forever.

Because it's an in-joke that went too far, obviously. But 99% of the time, there's hardly anything noteworthy on them.

Because autists like to imagine themselves as part of fictional media and thus having tropes.
