Fandom pissed everyone who used it for normal wikis. Minecraft Wiki, for example, had anon edits disabled because "the game is for children" (???).

Good, Fandom is intrusive with how they try and push you to other Fandom-wikis and on desktop it's generally just a bad experience. Fandom...
