First Battlefield was 1942. It had maps from the entire course of WWII. BF2 was before 2142. 2142 was in some ways a reskin of BF2.

A World War 1 game in name only. Too many SMGs and other automatic rifles, sometimes it felt like you were playing a WW2 game.
