If it makes you feel more at ease, you could take your daughter to a different doctor to get a second opinion.

I have something similar to your daughter. Gyno found a lump, I got an ultrasound, and it's just a cyst. I think if they don't ask to biopsy it...

Probably fine. Also if they do biopsy it, they stab the lump with a thick-ass needle and leave a little titanium marker behind so they can track...
