So the bullet train doesn't actually go from Vegas to LA. It goes from Vegas to 37 miles from LA, but then you can hop on public transit the rest...

Hmm... I think it is telling that I needed to go look up exactly how far LV-CA via I-15 is. For rail terminals it's almost an even 200 miles...
