Already is common. There are English versions of most Polish cities. They're simply the same as the German ones. Warsaw = Warsow/Warsau Wroclaw...

I don't mind calling Kiev "Kyiv", but I draw the line at calling Odessa "Odesa". I don't care if that's how the Ukrainians spell it, it looks...
