I don't see why they couldn't remake the original RDR WITH RDR2's engine.

In their minds, yes. Just re-releasing it is too much effort for not enough payoff since RDOnline didn't become a cash cow like GTAOnline.

I don't even care at this point. I can't imagine playing the game without the convenience of a cheat menu. It negates all the anti-fun additions...
