Taking a large metropolitan city in a night is almost impossible to do I dont think you understand how large a major city is.

You cannot take a city in a night if it's defended. Even the USA took a few days to take Baghdad and the city was largely undefended.

There's no way they take Ukraine today. Urban combat is a whole different ball game. Armored superiority and air superiority are a lot less...
