I think you guys are talking about two different things: gangs might rob and coerce you, but they don't demand that you love them while they do...

I agree, I know a lot of central americans but it's just like Africa, if the Western democracies weren't destabilizing those places the most...

It definitely isn't a replacement for actual government, but it's better than a woke dystopia if those were my two choices.
