Much like how Kristen Rubin used Vic's failure (as of now, finger's crossed) in the lawsuit to make her pro se arguments to the judge, I'm sure Flynn saw Vic's actions and based his own, like hiring a lawyer and taking it to court ASAP, on what Vic had done. If this hadn't happened, Flynn might still be apologizing and trying to get PR firms, only to get canceled anyway.
