He could get a telemarketing/level one IT help desk gig tomorrow if he wanted to. Support lines for things like fast food restaurants require almost no technical knowledge for about 80% of their calls because they mostly get retarded boomer managers who need their servers remotely rebooted or cashiers looking for help with a POS. A monkey could do it, and the human equivalent often does. It’s not public-facing and he could give any name he wanted so long as he was consistent. No zoomer manning a register at a Dunkin Donuts is going to recognize his voice over the phone.

Of course he wouldn’t be able to *keep* that job because it would actually entail that he work, which he is also chronically allergic to, but him acting like getting any job is an impossibility because he can’t afford a stab vest is stupid.

Just to add how dsp needs so much money every single day and it is still never enough even with fans that will literally put them selves into the poor house to keep him a float over their own well being and to own the trolls and how much the bankruptcy wiped out the one thing I don't think is brought up enough at least IMO is. He isn’t struggling. Users like actually and piece of peace sit down and sacrifice their free time so anyone who cares can see he is pulling in a stupid amount of money a month. Between greed and the fact that all his excess income is going straight out as soon as it comes in it just makes him a bottomless money pit, and he continues ti cry poor because none of his pigs call him on it and none of them will work together to withhold support, failing to realize that a panicked pig makes the tastiest bacon (okay, to use our terminology it should be milk but mixing metaphors is a sin).

I'm not on my PC (I had a good chart saved to represent this) but I ran everything through an amortization calculator and he almost certainly had/has a 5% interest rate. I'm presuming he is unable to refinance due to his bankruptcy, but he is paying waaaaay more finance charge than he needs to based on current interest rates as you know.

But that is the great thing about DSP and why we shouldn't really get too mad about the whales who give him money: he ALWAYS finds new creative ways to throw his money away.

So when Jaxx drops $1,000 from his wage slave job, what's really happening is that the U.S. economy gets boosted.

For example, Jaxx makes $100 pretax from 7-11 or whatever, loses let's say 20% on it for state and federal payroll taxes and then donates the $80 remaining to Phil. PayPal fees drop it to $77, then Phil pays his federal self-employment (15.3%), personal income (depending on his combined marginal rate, probably 12-16% depending on his write-offs) and WA state business taxes (1.5% of revenue) on it which ends up leaving him with about $50-$55 to waste on his retardedly high mortgage interest rate that if he was smart would have gotten refinanced long ago. Hell he might even still be paying fucking PMI if he never had his WA condo reappraised. That's a lot of loss of value from that original $80 that was in Jaxx's pocket to spend on Legos.

Just been listening to Phil's upload of yesterday's pre-stream rant and I can't help but notice how he keeps saying "Things were so good before Twitch fucked me over!" He says how happy he was, how stress-free he was, how the money was coming in thick and fast.

Is he talking about those same streams where he had multiple emergency fundraisers, increased tips goals and detailed his financial woes day after day after day?

It's just so funny how the grass is always greener with him. Even if the grass is piss-yellow and covered in chalky dog turds. He could be in dire straits on Monday, and then in even direr straits on Tuesday, and all of a sudden Monday was the pinnacle of his panhandling career.
