For how bad this is the real salt in the wound is knowing they'll have to drag Biden up to the podium today to explain it. I'd wager his handlers thought things would go smoothly and let poor Joe sleep the next week through, but this upended the apple cart.
They're going to need a scapegoat very soon because screams of "THEY DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE!" aren't going to carry much water when media start showing Americans being murdered in the streets.
