I do agree with your point, BUT I also do disagree with you in some points and think Donuts&Frenchfries-lover has a point. Back then trannies were accepted because they were either much more sane and just wanted to live their life lowkey, or they were regulated off into their little subcultures to begin with. They were big part of the gay culture too, because most were actually LGB who wanted to present as opposite gender and engage in seemingly straight relationships. In gay culture it's actually blurred what constitutes as trans or simply being gender non-conforming. They could be criticised and made fun of. It was no big deal.

All the legislation that validated transsexual identity back at the time were allowed because there were gatekeeping transition and they were rare enough to not cause any problems, and they were screened that creepers wouldn't get to transition. It was also a legislation that was created to enforce social and cultural standard of the time. It was a regulated caste for people who didn't fit in to become 'acceptable'. there's a reason why legal sex marker change in your ID predates gay marriage in all western countries. (You know some conservatives who thought if someone doesn't fit with the standard gender roles, they are must actually better be the opposite sex. Those people who'd rather have a trans 'daughter' than a gay son. Chris Jorgensen's transition were stated to be an attempt to 'cure homosexuality', and this is how Iran still operates today.)

Though I feel like the problem with TRA today was partly supported by the existence of legal infrastructure that was created to accommodate old school sane trannies in the first place. A social and legal policy that was sensible at the time may not be very sensible anymore. When the floodgate of degeneracy and woke menace happened - the loonies sideshows we're seeing here could use their officially validated identities to invade women space and general oh-so-oppressed crybullying. The system that was put in place became repurposed for culture war. This degeneracy won't be stopping soon because establishment loves them, the media love to peddle people to transition more, they're the biggest self-advertising cash cow the elites can ever dream of. They're lifelong medical patients, they're good PR for the extreme capitalistic liberal individualism due to the focus on the idea of authentic self (that can be bought).

The general population is losing the faith they have in the concept of transgenderism/transsexualism due to the increasing insanity from TRA and woke brigades, just like how much we've lost our the faith in lobotomy, phrenology and other outdated of the early 20th centuries. How eugenics which were a genuine idea to lessen the suffering of disabled people and was seen as progressive, got married with racism and it birthed Nazi atrocities to the point that eugenics as whole got dumped into the bin.

People are waking up to the fact that letting anyone to identify into anything and believing that reality can be overwritten by words isn't the best idea, WHILE they are actually also more accepting of gender non-conformity, crossdressing and homosexuality. Now, I feel like many people don't really mind how someone would dress or act, but they mind if they couldn't really acknowledge that someone is a dude or a chick without twitter blowing up and they're out of their job tomorrow. Having male or female, printed in your driver's license doesn't matter anymore when everyone knows what a tranny is and can clock one. the general populace is getting too exposed to the concept of transgenderism to the point that the illusion cannot go for too long anymore.

Transgender identity was a thing of its time, but the condition that made it exists peacefully doesn't exist anymore, so it's bound to change.




Funnily we kept joking that fatass troonettes who got mastectomy looked ridiculous with their flat chest because a man that fat would've got some moobs. Maybe the surgeon is actually doing a great job???

This was amazingly put and want to genuinely sit back ponder some more of what you wrote because some of the plot twists you threw may answer the couple year head scratcher I’ve had about “how we got here…” because to me (which is mainly based on my general personal experience) things went from fine to chaos overnight but as you know things don’t happen just suddenly - there’s always a road that takes you there and your way makes some good points and sense.

Ive noticed in the majority of YouTube videos aimed at women or videos talking about femininity and just girly stuff in general, there is always some tranny in the comments section trying to make it about themselves, and they try to demonize these women centric videos talking about femininity, as some standard set up by evil far right terfs simply because they can’t mirror femininity themselves (gee I wonder why) unfortunately with comments like these they’re handmaidens who enable them, but in this case, I’m glad they’re women who aren’t afraid to tell them to fuck off.

I remember seeing my first irl tranny sometime around the age of 12. Never had an idea that was even a thing, it was that uncommon back then. Now, living in a red sea of a state, I see minimum one every single time I go more than 20 minutes from home. It's shocking how people don't believe that trannies used to basically be nonexistent.
