Honestly, this is the biggest chink in their armor they've ever had. The real meat and potatoes for GG isn't just the prospect of Butts getting Vanned - it's the outpouring of support for her from the Antis giving them ammo for fucking months. It outright exposes the Antis as being fucking cancer for their PR.
I think they're defending Nyberg so hard right now because if she goes down, due to her ties to the other big names, then they're going to be next.
GG can now make a claim that is fucking devastating to anyone who would give support to the Antis, now: If you support anyone who defends Sarah Butts, you are supporting someone who defends pedophilia.
It's a nuclear weapon that the Antis just pretty much handed to GG's emailing machine.

Want to know something weird? I actually agree with and support many of the SJW movement basics given that I tick quite a few minority boxes myself, but it's all taken to such an extreme level of batshit insanity and complete lack of personal responsibility and consideration for the rights of others that the more time I spend in and around these people, the more politically conservative in my views I get. Even if I was a committed member of this culture/community I'd still be absolutely horrified at the double think, the brutality, the unbelievable level of pressure that's leveled at each individual member to agree with absolutely everything that is deemed to be 'right', and the ruthlessly enforced lack of critical thinking and disagreement. Everything must be bought into by everyone, 100%. A movement where any form of questioning and debate is flatly forbidden, and where members who do this are swiftly and brutally denounced and ostracised, is a fucking cult.
It's a bit like wanting to support local GLBT culture with a peaceful protest march along a route that includes going past several schools as to help educate both adults and children, and having people in leather BDSM gear show up and flamboyantly mime/perform sexual acts associated with the BDSM subculture every step of the way. If you object to having your children viewing graphic and violent sexual acts performed by adults, you're a homophobic monster who's hellbent on raising the next generation of Nazis and your face will be smeared across the face of the media for decades to come.
It's because of the SJW movement that feminism is a dirty word. It's because of the SJW movement that gay rights are such a fucking minefield. It's because of the SJW movement that men are flatly denied any form of acknowledgement that there are indeed acts of violence performed against them that have the same traumatic effects as would those same acts performed against women, children and transgenders. It's because of the SJW movement that transgender culture is increasingly viewed as a fucking joke played by nutjobs foaming at the mouth. It's because of the SJW movement that extreme violence and abuse commonplace in some minority cultures is swept discretely under the carpet, lest critics, social workers and investigators be personally and professionally annihilated.
