As I've said before, I'm basically this thread's resident environmentalist and I believe that we do need to change a lot of how we view our economy and massively cut down on our carbon emissions.

That said, Shaun's argument that people being serfs to Amazon is okay so long as Amazon does some vaguely green stuff is not how you respond to climate change. I'm a distributist, which means that I support distributing wealth as widely as possible and promoting small businesses, as opposed to large, capitalist enterprises. For me, that kind of economy - a system where people grow food on allotments, own their own houses, and buy things locally - seems a lot better for the climate than a system where we all live in pods, eat bugs, get free Amazon Prime deliveries and get a day off every Corpomas.

"A Game Of You" is one of the better Sandman arcs, mostly because it's one of the more self-contained storylines, the tranny character is very much a side-plot.
