At the time of writing this, it's been at least 24 hours since I first listened to the recording and learned about this occurrence. I've been to work, read though the comments of the forum, and just had a bit of a think.
After reading his text messages and listening to the recording a couple of times, I'm sure that these sexual acts did not start off as consensual. This whole situation reeks of Chris's antics with women. With few other women in his life, who knows how long Chris has been pestering or begging his mother for sexual favours. Since Bob died, he's always been uncomfortably physical with his mother, the same way he has always been with women he wanted to have sex with. Maybe she gave in, maybe he started and she didn't say stop, or he didn't listen.

Megan was right. Before any of us knew of him, Megan was absolutely spot on about his capacity to be a rapist.

Most likely. Also, Chris has a history of being sexually aggressive and touchy towards women, so raping an old woman seems like something he could do…. Christ, I wish he didn’t have to prove it.
 
Chris doesn't record things himself, he still thinks burning DVDs are a wise archival method. Anything that was said in between any given troon meeting them and something terrible happening and being recorded is likely cut out so the people manipulating Chris don't get hamstrung and can continue to conduct their mental guerilla tactics on him.

Maybe I'm moralfagging but honestly? She doesn't need to know. The fact that she had to deal with him for as long as she did is a permanent black mark on her life. Telling her what he became will only cause her to wonder if anything she did drove him to this, and she doesn't deserve that in the slightest.

IIRC it was like... topicam oestrogen cream? Not the typical stuff people use to transition.

It was something given to Barb for HRT for menopause if I'm not mistaken.

On one hand I do have to look at Chris and wonder how the fuck the Government never stepped in before now. How we could let people so obviously unable to take care of themselves not under Government care.
On the other hand I'm all for allowing people as much freedom as they're capable of-it just seems like we gave Chris too much freedom and then he did this.
