Probably said long ago but: It’s time for not only @Null but also @Marvin, @The American Hedgehog, and all others who have taken to acting as on-and-off friends/helpers/guardians of Chris to sever. Josh should do whatever he is legally obligated to with the $5k then completely wash his hands of the poop he’s touched.

Is the strategy of long-term harm reduction Josh seems to be angling for possible with Chris? Should Chris be helped? Does he deserve help? Can internet people meaningfully help him? The answer is no on all counts, despite what people might have thought post-Idea Guys where internet people were able to wrangle him out of that situation. He is fucked up in ways none of us can mitigate.
