Not to powerlevel too much, but I had a similar situation in my family about 10 years ago. A close family member was on their deathbed from a terminal disase (being vague to minimize PL), and they had a sister that was a loud, obnoxoius cunt. Now normally she would have been left out of the loop, but the dying relative made it one of her last wishes for their sister to be included in their last days.

However, the rest of the family has been sick of dealing with her shitty narc ass over the years, so they did the same thing you mentioned above: one family member (it rotated daily so everyone shared the burden) was tasked with keeping her distracted and out of the way while the others would deal with the financial, legal, and medical arrangements (Will, Funeral, Last Rites, etc). Thankfully, since the Tess of the family was more concerned with shopping and partying than their dying sibling, it wasn't hard to convince her to go out.

Once all the t's were crossed and all the i's were dotted, then she was "allowed" to add her two cents, for what it's worth. She raised a fucking stink that she wasn't getting everything (as expected), but by then she couldn't do shit. She's lucky she got something at all, because if it wasn't for the dying relative's last wishes, that selfish cunt would have got nothing.

I probably should have specified better and made it clear that I didn't mean that any complication was necessarily due to blood clots. It could be anything, but as I did say, it's unlikely anyway to be related to the shot. Just offering up a possibility for her behaviour. Realistically it's more than likely due to her mother's obesity and the brain injury.

Amen to this. She absolutely is the big fat moron that shows up in almost every family of a patient who is seriously ill and at a critical point ( ie the height of the drama and attention) and fade away when the real work of recovery, rehab and aftercare begins.

Also, I am curious how covid procedures are at the place where her mom is. I had family in the hospital with a similar critical issue and the hosp covid procedures were in place.

This meant 1 visitor per day - not one at a time but one person per 24 hours. So if your fatass daughter shows up, stays long enough to take selfies and leaves then you are screwed for the next 23 hours. Then the rules were slightly loosened as we phased down.

BUT they can be negotiated for a compliant and cooperative family. They can also be tightened as an excuse to keep people like Tess out. I would imagine her brother has the medical POA or admin duties and such, not Tess. He will boot her ass back to Cali soon. She is likely ready to leave unless she has her eye on some of moms stuff to claim.

We were thankful for the covid rule to be able to keep visitors and drama at bay. There were no selfies and vague posting. Its a true miracle that my loved one survived without FB selfies, vagueposts , has tags and drama, y'all.

This is why Tess took several days to say what her mother was dealing with. She knows that this is the endgame of FA/HAES bullshit and it took her days to utter to her fanbase that she is dealing with something that is a direct cause of morbid obesity.
