Culture ‘Inclusive’ Sports Illustrated Swimsuit show features plus-sized models

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit made a splash over the weekend with a new “inclusive” runway show featuring women of diverse body types, ages and races.

The magazine, known for its steamy swimsuit issue, showed off a rainbow of plus-sized models, moms and entrepreneurs on the poolside catwalk at the luxury Mondrian Hotel on South Beach Saturday.

Miami-based actress and model Saje Nicole stunned in a string bikini alongside 57-year-old model Kathy Jacobs, who describes herself on Instagram as the “oldest/shortest Sports Illustrated rookie ever.”

Meanwhile, personal chef Chelsea Heath rocked a tan bikini and matching coverup as social media influencer Natalie Mariduena strutted her stuff in a shiny crimson one-piece.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit — which has historically featured thin and busty bikini-clad models on its cover — says it wants the annual event to change the “conversation around beauty” and boost body positivity.

“Sports Illustrated Swimsuit continues to redefine the cultural conversation around beauty by celebrating a diverse group of women who include professional athletes, entrepreneurs, models, mothers, rookies and swim search contestants,” the firm said in a press release.

It added, “Its annual Miami runway show which collectively rounds out this remarkable group of authentic and aspirational women has become the go-to show during swim week in Miami.”

Other showstoppers included Canadian-born plus-size model Amanda Kay, who wore a pink one-piece suit and matching nail polish.

The annual runway show previewed the 2021 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, which hits stands July 19.

In recent years, the company has featured more “inclusive” models but this year’s show may be its most diverse group of women yet.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit — which has historically featured thin and busty bikini-clad models on its cover
Wait, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit has historically featured attractive women in bikinis? Why would they do that?
Everyone knows men retch at the sight of the skin of beautiful women.

It’s a good thing Sports Illustrated is willing to tank its most profitable issue to save men from having to see good-looking women in revealing outfits.

The only way those women would 'make a splash' is if they jumped in a swimming pool. Or hit the pavement from a few stories up.

TBF, they're all a lot less disgusting than the girls some companies have been putting out to virtue signal.

are you sure

Why would anyone buy a magazine with old fatties in it when I can type in "attractive woman" in google and get 14 millions results?

They can try to serve me ketchup and chocolate sandwiches all they want, telling me how good they are, but they can't make me eat it.

Its just another part of atomizing Americans for globohomo. As lame as the swimsuit issue was it was a piece of American culture. Now its just pozzed out.

I don't even think she's that bad compared to some of the models other companies are using to virtue signal. But... my god, that is not a flattering bathing suit at all. :c
Because that bathing suit is for a much more slender girl. Certain clothes fit certain bodies better than others despite hambeasts insist otherwise. That's the only reason models are thin, to make the clothes better looking. ETA: and yes, some clothes also look terrible on thin women.

Thank God I am a faggot:

I just came here to say it's not diverse enough. We need some true fat women:

Okay so how about showcasing some athletic chicks with missing limbs, skin conditions, or anything that isn't just being fat.

Fuck! :cryblood:

I know some guys find that attractive and she'd make a mint on OnlyFans (if she isn't already). But it's not the kind of stuff you expect to see on a runway show. Her body is still totally salvageable at this point. All she needs to do is give a fuck. She probably is naturally pear shaped but that doesn't mean she can't be toned.

The problem with these kinds of virtue signalling fests is that it's never inclusive enough. Where's the 300 lb BBW Kween slaying it down the runway with her FUPA leading the way?

The swimsuit issue itself hasn't been released yet and I wonder how bad it will be. This magazine is just for men who need something to grab for a quick fap. It's a big money maker and turning it into a fat farm to keep the piggies from oinking about inclusivity is going to eat into profits.
