My theory is that she never admitted anything to her family and certainly nothing to the ER about her drug use. Her uncle took her to the ER because there wasn't anyone else and she stayed there overnight because it was too late to drive back to Ottawa. Even if Shmee wanted to, she's 90 minutes away. Too far for an "emerge".
Chins abused the ER because she felt like trash. Probably had some mild angina from exertion (the ball) and the effects of whatever stimulant she's using. Even with her weight loss her cardio/pulmonary tolerance and fitness is in the toilet and bound to get worse with her diet, the drugs and her lack of estrogen.
Additionally, there is no conservatorship of her finances nor any intervention nor plan for counseling or rehab. It's all a red herring she devised to get attention and superchats.
Having said that, the ER biz is Chantal getting her favorite fix of all time- attention. Attention with the bonus of deflection from whatever is going on in her life that she doesn't want to deal with. I'm guessing dwindling finances, a forced move, and nobody to rub her gunt.
I really think she is trying to make herself sick so that she can get the ultimate get out of jail card. She probably thinks that she can just hit a reset button health wise, YT wise, infamy wise and everything will be ok. It seems to have worked for her in the past- Make a huge mess of your life and leave it for others to deal with.
Until then, the Ogress of the North will continue to get high. Continue with the edibles. Continue to eat like a starved feral hog let loose on a rubbish tip. And continue to buffalo and gaslight her remaining loyal VIBs.
Edit to add- She is pushing this addiction arc to get a new audience. She had exhausted most of the weight loss community. This is a play out of the ALR playbook. She gains Ambabies and turns them into haydurs in record time. Chins is going down the same road. It's practically an attention ponzi scheme.
This only has one plausible conclusion, it's just taking her too fucking long to get there.

Based on ratings I think I must have englisch-as-a-2nd-language misunderstood here, or I'm just retarded. Either way sorry about being dumb.
Also since bankruptcy has been mentioned a few times in last few pages just a reminder that she already declared bankruptcy once. We don't know the specifics of the type I don't believe; but yeah, she already fucked shit up for herself financially once and that experience, which normal people find pretty difficult and instills some humility and self-restraint moving forward, sure as shit taught her nothing.

Watching the live stream currently and I think the intake/drug counselling appointment triggered her to run home and binge on weed, etc. She mentioned that they asked her a whole bunch of personal questions like how she was feeling and what her goals in life are.
Of course she goes off on how she doesn't understand how people can have goals like go to college, get married and have kids. She says she's always been someone who would just drive to Montreal or do things with no plans involved. She said her perfect life would be food, travel and foreign men. I believe this probably tipped off the intake person and they probably asked her more questions about her being impulsive and not having any future plans that aren't instant gratification.
Chantal as always, got mad that the counsellors probably know about her bullshit and pushed her to get more help. They even said she could do a detox in 4 weeks, but she told the counsellor she's already been off of it for 2 days so she doesn't need it. She even called this a stupid idea.
TL : DR She's not getting help and she blew through any advice the counsellor gave her. The counsellor wanted her to do a detox but the waiting list is 4 weeks (which isn't actually that long, all things considered). Let's see where she is in 4 weeks, she'll probably need a detox by then, but she's not on the list so... boohoo Guntal go choke on your joints and edibles.

I'm over this whole push for "california sober" where addicts get to use weed in unlimited amounts to cope. If we're giving addicts free range to buy illegal weed gummies that are 1000mg what's the point of them getting sober? Chantal's not a dainty gorl and couldn't live off of the 10mg chocolate the OCS sells legally so how are you not addicted to weed at this point?

The smug today is at off the charts level. This is the smug exhibited by an addict, (I don't give a shit what specific substance of choice), who has just fooled everybody in their circle or who thinks they have. The smug demonstrated by someone who think they just obtained a "Get Out of Jail" Free card & who is getting LOTS of attention. Oh that glorious, smile inducing, energy giving, ATTENTION!
I will repeat - there is no possibility of change with her until she bottoms out HARD. Doubtful even that will do nothing but elicit a bewildered: "But I'm just living my life! I don't understand! I'm just.... beezin' today. I'll change tomorrow!"
Talking about assessments & recommendations is a far cry from action but the only action she embraces with any enthusiasm is ripping open food bags & containers, nomming the contents down & tearing into her packages of edibles.
Work, responsibilities, obligations.... those are for sucker, you beezers & Chantal ain't no sucker.
She's getting close to running out of suckers willing t carry her not unimpressive load.
