War Biden: Federal Vaccination Effort Will Go ‘Door to Door’ to Get People COVID-19 Shots - No, I'm not gonna get your stupid ass jab

President Joe Biden on Tuesday said that the federal government's vaccination efforts will shift from mass vaccination sites to "literally knocking on doors" in some instances to get people inoculated against the coronavirus.

"We are continuing to wind down the mass vaccination sites that did so much in the spring to rapidly vaccinate those eager to get their first shot and their second shot for that matter, if they needed a second," Biden said in the South Court Auditorium at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building near the White House. "Now we need to go to community by community, neighborhood by neighborhood, and oft times door to door – literally knocking on doors – to get help to the remaining people protected from the virus."

Biden's message came after he fell short of his July 4 vaccination goal to reach 70% of U.S. adults with at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose. The figure currently stands at just over 67%.

The Biden administration hopes to address concerns causing vaccine hesitancy with its more targeted approach to communities. But it's unclear how the door-to-door strategy will be received – especially among the 10% of unvaccinated adults who cited conspiracy theories or misinformation about the vaccines, skepticism of drug companies or general anti-government or anti-vaccine sentiment in a Morning Consult poll that asked why they won't get the shot.

According to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 55% of the entire U.S. population is at least partially vaccinated against the coronavirus.

But Biden urged more people to get the shot as the highly transmissible delta variant spreads. The variant makes up about 25% of new coronavirus cases in the U.S. and is expected to become the dominant strain in the coming weeks.

"Right now, as I speak to you, millions of Americans are still unvaccinated and unprotected," Biden said. "And because of that their communities are at risk, their friends are at risk, the people they care about are at risk. This is an even bigger concern because of the delta variant."

He said the variant should "cause everybody to think twice" but specifically the "young people who may have thought that they didn't have to be vaccinated."

Future federal efforts to get people vaccinated during the summer will put a focus on communities, including making the shots available at local pharmacies, family doctors' offices and worksites when possible, Biden said.

Fuck around and find out Joe. I guess "My Body My Choice" only applies to babies in the womb.

Vaccines weren't invented until 1796.
George Washington ordered his army to receive a primitive inoculation for smallpox in 1777, before "proper" vaccines were invented. It was controversial at the time, only applied to the military, and in response to allegations that the British were engaging in bio-warfare.

Lol sure, the same retards that couldn't roll into the fetal position and start crying for mommy fast enough when the cops started arresting them after their little Jan 6th party are totally going to go full boogaloo over mandatory vaccination.

No, you will cry, you will bitch but ultimately you'll shit yourself and do nothing at the slightest show of force.
You’ve clearly never been to some of the backwoods parts of this country.

There’s places people will pull a gun on you if you roll up at their house to try to take census data, or do a Red Cross health check after a disaster. You think they’ll sit there and just let themselves get vaccinated?

There's going after people who went out of their way to a protest that got out of hand. Then there's the government barging in on people threating to kill them "for their own good".

It's not a fucking zombie virus, chill the fuck out.

"Muh public health" is what "muh national security" was 20 years ago. Neither trump the Constitution, and GWOT-style abuses need to be nipped in the bud before they start.
The vaccine isn't deadly you fucking mong.

No but it nearly crippled Italy and health experts have repeatedly said the biggest issue with Covid is the strain it will place on our healthcare system because thanks to that empathy for others you hate we can't just bar anti-vax retards from the hospital. Believe me I'd be more than happy to let you retards Darwin yourselves and get on with my life.

Mandated vaccines are constitutional you fucking smoothbrain.

Shit, even taking a K turn gets them antsy.

The founding fathers instituted forced inoculations and the like, this is completely acceptable to them under the constitution.
If this is true, I would like to point out that this vaccine is rather different then the vaccines of prior eras and the idea that the founders would be okay with a largely unproven(as in, it hasn't been fully approved by the FDA yet)vaccine based on new technology, and has all sorts of side effects that we're just discovering now, with long-term side effects unknown because the vaccines are new and rushed out the door.

Given all that, I find it doubtful they would approve of this particular vaccine being forced on people.
I mean it is. I got my shot. I’m healthy and fine.
Good for you, nobody said you shouldn't get the vaccine if you want it.

You do realize they didn’t die in 1776. George Washington died in late 1799 retard
No shit, Sherlock. Vaccines would not have been a widespread thing instantly. Edward Jenner only published the proof-of-concept in 1798. It would have taken months to get across the sea. Plus, vaccines were not able to be made in a laboratory until Louis Pasteur did so with rabies and anthrax in the 1870s.

Perhaps the government does have the authority to mandate vaxes. But "Washington and Jefferson did it!" is a retarded anachronism.

I'm like 99% sure there's some kind of hidden agenda with this vaccine. It sterilizes or micro chips you or something. I don't like being a conspiracy theorist but it makes zero sense for them to be so incredibly desperate for an illness that has a 99.5% survival rate.
Personally, I think it's just about the shekels.
For anyone worried about male fertility post Vaccine, it apparently actually increased. Not only did semen volume increase noticably, but sperm motility (aka actually swimming) increased noticeably as well.

They didn't actually show an unexplainable increase.

While these results showed statistically significant increases in all sperm parameters, the magnitude of change is within normal individual variation and may be influenced by regression to the mean. Additionally, the increase may be due to the increased abstinence time before the second sample. Men with oligospermia did not experience further decline.
The first sentence was a bad take on stats, and the second sentence was almost certainly the actual cause in the variation

If they had, that would have been a horrible sign since there shouldn't be anything in the vaccine which would affect sperm count at all, and if it were affecting it either positively or negatively, this would be indicative of the vaccine having some other underlying effect which was indirectly affecting sperm counts (e.g. increased amygdala activation, altered testosterone levels, an effect on capillary function, etc).

Vaccines weren't invented until 1796.
Smallpox inoculation was around well before that. The trouble was it was a risky procedure, far riskier than later vaccinations. Still, colonial governments encouraged or ordered it done during smallpox outbreaks, like in Boston in the 1720's.

Yes, this vaccine is rather different, it doesn't have a 2% chance of fucking killing you within 2 weeks. The inoculation methods at the time were literally taking pus filled scabs, slicing your arm, and rubbing those scabs into the wound.

Anyone else find it funny they say this on the same day Psaki said the administration would support any state that chooses to lockdown again?
