Nah, I know more than few men with piercings including both ears pierced. They are perfectly normal, maybe little artsy but normal. Usually their jewelry is either plain or has matel head aesthetic so not terribly feminine stuff. Most cases they got piercings during teenage rebellion and just didn't feel like stop wearing them. They like having this little unusual style thing going that remains them about carefree youth and hobbies.
Painted nails other hand are unusual on a normal guy. Pretty much any guy that does wear polish uses clear polish to protect nails from damage or grow out a broken nail. Actual noticeable nail polish tends be a dare or a goof. That or a female loved one like a girlfriend or a daughter wanted to do his nails and the guy was willing to humor her.
