Does it not even occur to them that the version of America that is "back" is the one that it took us decades to even start to shove back in the trash where it belongs?
America had turned into a fucking awful nation by the time Trump got in. We had spent 30+ years dicking around the Middle East by that point, our government was treating our citizens like criminals and criminals like saints by launching unprecedented surveillance efforts against the domestic population while also doing sketchy shit like funneling money through drug cartels and selling guns to them that contibuted to Mexico becoming more deadly than Iraq. Clinton fucked us over in the 90s and we lost our edge in manufacturing capability, Bush turned us into Bond villains, and Obama continued the tradition and dabbled in playing with the sinaloa cartel. The only people who really "liked" that version of America, the one Biden is gleefully stating has returned, are people who were actively fucking everyone else over and everyone else who was too retarded to realize they were getting fucked over.
The people in the room with him at NATO that were happy about it? Of course they were. America is back to getting bent over backwards by politicians who care more about what foreign voters want than what American voters want.
